T is just having a ball and her days are filled with her "something new" . She smiles and all is right with the world. I have started back to study and am feeling my brain slowly come back to life after a year of being shut down tight as a drum.
Converting 17 years worth of experience into a useable set of provable skills is an interesting task. In many ways it is actually harder for me that it has been for T, although I guess in the long term it will be easier for me.
The 12 months of quiet has been a very good time for me to look back at my life in Japan and consider what I could have done differently and what I will do differently here. One job at a time, healthier food and more exercise, time in the sun, time with friends and family, communication, films and books and of course, time with my music!

I moved to Northern California this August. I guess we are in a next phase of our lives. Take care and give my hugs to T!!
Yep I guess so.. at least now it is all finally sinking in that I am really here and I do really have to work on what I am going to do here for a while! I'm going back to Japan, but I will be here a little longer than I had planned on. Things a good though!
